Position: Project Assistant (WASH)

Job Summary:

The Project Assistant will support the implementation of WASH-related projects at the LGA level, working directly with communities, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of project objectives.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

Work closely with stakeholders and beneficiaries at field locations.

Participate actively in all FRAD project activities.

Supervise and guide FRAD volunteers at the field level.


Provide support during trainings, meetings, and community engagements.

Prepare and submit weekly and monthly activity reports.

Represent FRAD in LGA-level coordination meetings.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Coordinator or management.

Experience and Technical Competencies

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or related field.

At least 2 years of field experience in humanitarian or development settings, particularly in WASH, Nutrition, or Protection.

Strong understanding of safeguarding, do-no-harm, and survivor-centered approaches.

Excellent report writing, documentation, and communication skills.


Proven integrity, cultural sensitivity, and respect for diversity.
